Depending on the mounting angle of the player, as well as your height and seating position, the parallax angle might cause the fascia to obscure the upper left corner of the VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display).

For most cars, this isn't a problem because the DIN slot is mounted pretty high and it's angled to face upwards towards the driver. But it can be a problem on some cars. Also, there is some manufacturing variation in the position of the VFD against the display board.

If this is bothering you, you might be able to "scooch" the VFD downwards.

Note: The VFD is made of thin glass and it is fragile. Especially the fill nipple at the lower-right corner of the VFD. So if you try this, remember that you do so at your own risk. If you break the VFD, you will need to pay for its replacement, and it's not a cheap part.
To move the VFD panel downwards, first remove the fascia, buttons, knob, and lens. You will need a 2.5mm hex tool to do this. Then press downwards on the top of the VFD. You will need to apply a constant, firm pressure with your thumbs on both sides of the top of the VFD. As you do this, you are bending the pins along the bottom which connect the VFD to the display board. You will probably also be stressing the double-sided foam that connects the back of the VFD to the display board, but you should be able to move the VFD anyway.

Check to make sure the VFD is still lined up straight and that none of its extremities come in contact with the casing or components. Then re-assemble the fascia. Do not overtighten the 2.5mm hex nuts, they should only be finger-tight. If you tighten them too much, you will make your buttons stick and possibly even crack your fascia or lens.
